This is the weight loss program I offer at the clinic but in the online format. It's pretty amazing, you can track your measurements, weight, inches, body fat percentages, you can plan low glycemic meals from the online menus, there is an exercise section, and an online support group...

Here are the e-tools they offer:
Meal Planner
Exercise Planner
Progress Tracker
Daily Journal
Ask-an-Expert
Newsletters
Community- And their blurb about the community section.
Losing weight is always more fun with friends. Using the Transitions Weight Loss community you can find people that are going through a 12 week program just like you. You can share your success, get your questions answered and stay motivated 24/7 with our weight loss community full of tips, tricks, and ideas to keep you on track with your weight loss goals.

I really believe in this program and have seen amazing results with my clients. I want to stress that this is not a diet but a change in how and what you eat, making the right food choices based on knowing the content of your foods. We're beginning to hear more and more about the glycemic index programs now, nutrasystems, weight watchers and others are offering this system and marketing it mainly to diabetics but this is the way we should all eat in our processed food environment!

The web subscription is $9.95 per month and can be cancelled anytime. If you sign up keep me posted on your progress, come back to this blog and share your favorite things about the site and share menu options with us!

Here's wishing you good health!

Go to :
www.transitionslifestyle.com
To check it out!

If you suffer from nasal/sinus problems here is a good link to explore.

http://www.selfgrowth.com/articles/McDonald2.html

I have suffered mainly every spring due to allergies that compound into sinus infections and I tend to get the most relief with N-Acetyl-Cysteine (free form amino acid) in combination with some isotonic vitamin C. This is the first time I've poached, I typically cook them in olive oil using an oil spray bottle to keep the amount of fat down. Poaching is really simple, get a sauce pan or deep frying pan, bring it to a low to medium boil, add a little white vinegar to help keep the egg together and then gently place the egg into to the water, you can use a bowl or soup ladle to accomplish this. If you want fewer yolks, separate the egg into a bowl prior to cooking. Time wise the online suggestion was 3-4 minutes, I went longer on the first and it was too hard. Spice it up how you'd like I go for the hot sauce!.. Cheers.

Low Glycemic Favorites!

Let's build a favorite low GI-Menu!
